Our building was built by the PORTUGEESE COLONIELS during their occupational era between 1660 and 1663. It is situated at Princess Street, Fort Cochin, Kerala, South India.

Our building is listed amongst the oldest heritage buildings of that period, and is in the PRIME SPOT of Fort Cochin. The building was initially non-occupational and was renovated to the present style and needs of tourists / travelers, retaining the original ambience and serenity of the place.

Every care has been taken keeping in mind the comfort and needs of the traveler to ensure that their stay is memorable.

Sonnetta Residency is situated 45 kms from the Cochin International Airport. It is 13 Km away from the kerala Govt. Transport Bus stand and main Railway junction.

We have delux double bedded rooms and tripple bedded family rooms. The rooms are provided with air conditioners, television sets (which covers all international channels) and fitted with all modern amenities.

Each room has a 6ft tall gothic style window with glass panel outside and mosquito netted interior window shutters facing to an open silent road which provide pure natural ventilation and air circulation inside the rooms.

Our rooms are clean, neat and dust free. We always strive to maintain the same. Every room has comfortable furniture and is fitted with wardrobes and sufficient storage space.

The rooms are provided with attached bath rooms and are fitted with western styled closet, hot and coldwater, shower throughout day and night.

There is no full time restaurant in this residency because we fear it may spoil the serenity and tranquility of the place. We have our own Hotel called Elite in an adjacent building. Hence all meals can be provided/served as per your requirement, if needed and will be charged separately. There is choice of restaurants in the close proximity of the Residency to suit your needs.
