The Hermitage Guesthouse ia located on an isolated organic farm, based in the Western ghats. It offers the traveller an opportunity to experience jungle living and life in rural India, as it really is. We follow the principles of 'Responsible Travel' and provide our guests with a truly unique experience.

Three rooms all styled differently using local materials, skills and traditional styles. All the rooms offer maximum privacy, two are without electricity. All with attached bathrooms and running water. You will not find luxury here, but plenty of comfort, warmth and good country cooking.

All activities are rural based. Walking, Trekking, Swimming, Bird watching, Animal viewing and so on.

Vegetarian or non vegetarian. Parsee,Iranian and
Anglo Indian cooking.
